Data Scientist

Who we are

We are a Stealth Venture from Berlin building an exciting SAAS product. Our founders and management team has several years of experience in the domain, including a large exit, and is now aiming to disrupt their industry with a novel approach. We are currently growing our team to make our first product launch a success!

What you will do

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as a data scientist on projects that help our customers understand their climate emissions data better. You will work closely with passionate hybrid engineering and product teams. Together with strong partners from our target space we are creating a solution which is able to turn the market upside down. You will get to work closely with those partners to ensure our software is able to solve the problems of carbon management at scale.

On a daily basis you will:

• Work on a product that can enable thousands of companies to reduce their emissions footprint
• Develop new and boundary pushing machine learning based tools for our customers

Skills and Experience

We are a hybrid team with a good portion of the engineering team being fully remote. This makes strong communication skills both written and verbal a must.

For this position you should have the following experience:

• 3 or more years of professional data science experience
• Experience in the Natural Language Processing space
• Experience in building text classifiers
• Experience of working in early stage startups
• Experience in maintaining a high quality codebase with tests
• Experience working with TypeScript is a plus
• Experience with AWS infrastructure is a plus
